Who am I?

I’m a 25 year-old writer and editor. I was born and raised in Detroit, went to college and graduate school in Chicago, and now live in Upstate New York, where the traffic is slightly better and the weather is slightly worse.

I majored in English in college and learned the art of writing long-winded but ultimately meaningless research papers as well as spectacularly bad poetry.

I live with Ella, a girl I met on the Internet, and her many pairs of shoes.

My interests include, but are not limited to: bacon, robots, pinball, bands that nobody has heard of, cheeseburgers, not the Chicago Bears, hockey, Mexican food, and people named Harvey.

I look pretty much the same as I do in my picture, except I’m not always so loaded.
